I had dropped it a little closer to "max" through the winter, it was quite warm Monday :)

I have not seen the JS10 in person but would like opinion on the head size compared to say the ZF1/4U or VT80/4U. Are they similar in size taking aside they dont have the bravesword frame mold. I may be wrong but I think these 3 rackets are pretty close? However, I think the Z-Slash frame is much smaller.

I'm interested in the JS10 but would like some opinions before taking the plunge, will burn a big hole in my pocket, lol. If it plays similar to ZF1/4U or VT80/4U then I may skip. Thanks.

    Cheers

If I could lift a car with one hand as you can DB then I'd go for higher tensions too. However, I'm happy to stick at 25/27 and continue playing with the ladies!

So in my case the average 22-26lb doesn't apply?

What does that make Ben, then?:D

We know the JS10 will take at least 34/35, but I may play it safe at stick to 31/32 - I just got a Gosen through, and it survived, but I think I'm pushing it now!

So I've taken the plunge and bought a JS10 4U strung at 25x27 lbs with NBG 95 strings though I won't be able to try it out until Sunday.

My immediate impression of the racket is just how light it is overall despite being used to 4U rackets. The 4U BS10 and 4U SW35 have been my rackets of choice for the last three years or so. I've been using my BS10 more than my SW35 as of late but the JS10 seems just a touch lighter.

Now, the balance point on my BS10 is about 287 mm while it's around 293 mm on the JS10, both rackets are strung and layered with a grip identically. However, I can't feel any extra head weight on the JS10 at all from just holding it normally or with swing preparation. That said, I can feel it at the end of my overhead swing. This is probably due to more flexible shaft of the JS10 at work. I can't wait to try this racket out because I've always wanted a bit more oomph from my BS10 when performing short, sharp actions with little or no backswing.

    Thanks mate.

-Stiffer than BS12 and slightly stiffer than BSLYD is good!
-Balance slightly less HH than BSLYD is good!
    -High sweetspot is very good!

It's beginning to sound like a stiffer ArcZS.

I've gone from wanting a JS10, to not, now back to may be!!

I'll be choosing my words very carefully as the Yonex lovers have already given me a hard time. Funny how they didn't say anything when I rated Yonex rackets.

If a racket is good then let's praise it. Afterall there is enough mediocre equipment out there.

PS My scoring system will always stop at 5....sadly

Yeah, but trouble is I've just bought two more BSLHI... knowing they've been discontinued and is in my opinion the best bravesword ever made.

So I'm going to find it hard to justify another racquet so soon. What if I end up liking the JS10 more than the BSLHI, what am I going to do with my 4 BSLHI? LOL...

You can sell your BS LHI rackets to me!!! I agree it's the best BS. I would definitely buy a couple of used ones as backups for the two I already have.

    Paul,
knowing your previous go tos were 3U VT80 and 3U VTZF2, will you be adding some lead tape to your new go tos 4U JS10? Or are you finding then more or so equivalent in terms of power and speed?

The BS10 was nice but lacked power compared to LHI for me. I like the LYD and BS11 too but not a match for LHI in my opinion.
