I received a racket with a long looking tie-off knot and was wondering what knot it is. It appears to be the same knot done two or three times on top of each other and not just a single one.

Any keen eyes can identify what knot this is and whether it is good as a tie-off knot?

the top 2 are just half hitch knots one over another.

the bottom one is hard to see.

half-hitch is the most basic of tie-off knots. doubling it just make it more secure.

it can also be used to tie on top of a fancier base knot to double secure it.

Not keen on multiple half-hitches, myself - they make a tall knot, but not a fat one, and it's a fat one you want:).

The racket might have been born with a mole :)
