I asked a few new friends about it and I am surprised no one knows. I was taught these 2 fundamental laws of badminton many years ago by a very good player. Do anyone know what they are?
1. Cheung is always right. 2. There is no 2 Err, 1. Racquet up 2. Take the shuttle at the earliest point you can. Or for my upcoming mixed match: 1. Have fun / relax 2. Stop lifting from the net when the netshot would be preferable.
1. Badminton is a young man's game 2. Stop smashing constantly if it feels like your having a heart attack.
1) you have to serve over the net to get a point (thought not true anymore, you do need serve over the net to win unless you are the receiver on first serve) 2) no serving overhead
1. Never trust anyone who tells you that they know the '2 fundamental secrets' to anything, but then makes you squirm and guess for the answer. 2. Let the Wookie win.
