What's the most obvious fake racquet you've seen?

My doubles partner found a fake AT800 at the stringer's. It was a very obvious fake, as it had a traditional oval head! Apparently it belonged to a customer who bought it in China. I don't know if he thought it was real though.
    :p

one of my friends went to Vietnam and brought back a racquet, it was a racquet in the Aromrtec series i cant remember which one exactly but anyways it was an obvious fake cause of the look of it, the most obvious thing was that it said it was a stiff flex but when he bent it you could bend very easily and looked like it could break.

The reason why these rackets bend so easily is simple. It's like drugs, you can have pure drugs or drugs that have been cut. Same for rackets, these countries (china/vietnam) cut down the material so they can produce more rackets. Like they say, you pay for what you get.

It would be some AT-1000s I have seen.

It's in green+red+blue+yellow color and it's the most ugly racket I have ever seen in my life.

im pretty sure i saw AT1000, AT2000 and AT3000 not too long ago on ebay :D

while we're on the topic of fakes.. my frd's got a fake Ti-10.. and although i didn't get a good look at it (and compare with my other frd's Ti-10) while playing it was really hard to tell... only fake part of it is that it has no serial no. at all :p

I don't think the serial on the shaft is right either. But I could be wrong.

The color on the MP99 is wrong to begin with. That was a giveaway :D
