    Hello All,

I recently bought a stringing machine. :) stupid idea maybe ::::
I have a big problem, the rope slips from the gripper.

    This one:

I try to limit the space in the gripper but it still slips or damage the string (BG 66 Ultimax...)
This is the first time I use it, may be I should clean more the pieces of metals :(
The stringing machine is not new and I think stored for a long time in a garage ( a little bit rusted )

My question: The two parts metals in the gripper should be rough or smooth ?

I see also many people talking about business card.
Should I replace the two pieces of metal in the gripper by a business card ?

    Thank you for the advice

Sorry for my English, non-native language...

I have a similar machine and don't have any slipping problems, even with ZyMax62. However I don't use the ratcheting function, I started stringing on a non-ratcheting machine and basically use the Gamma similarly. The Gamma manual will instruct based on the ratcheting mode. Are you using the ratcheting method or non?
