I tried the No.1 and would say it is similar to ZM62. Feels thin and sharp. But like ZM62 the repulsion doesn't work for me and net play is difficult because the string just feels too thin. I am going to have a hit with the string again after leaving it for few weeks.
No.1's repulsion seems to only work well with lightweight shuttles eg. Protech Masterpiece and below. I'm now curious about No.5 for the reason that if a .65 (No.1) can feel like a .62 (ZM62) then would the No.5 (.69) feels like .65/.66, or the No.7 (.70) like .68.
After using LiNing 1 for 5 weeks, my friend who is aka my tester is not able to break it with his power smashes. Incredible string!! Also holds tension well. He says the white one is the better than the other colors. I've been testing the no. 1 and no. 7 and it's very impressive as well
I'm really impressed by the endurance of the LN No.1 string. I strung my racket LN N9 @28lbs and had been playing for about 5 weeks and still the string has not broken. For a 65mm thick string to last so long with my game mainly on heavy smashing @ men double, this string is really impressive in both power and endurance.
