Mmm, paint takes a long time to dry ... Especially oil paint. Buy yesterday's WD was much longer.

Never read Justin Bieber, but we do read our own Justin here.

I think the CHN pair is a bit jaded and after that easy win yesterday, they unconsciously just relax too much. Still, very good play by the JPN to keep up the intensity.

    TQ/ZYL somewhat off-colour today.

At least some life now with CHN attacking incessantly 15-12 to JPN.

JPN is pulling away with the more aggressive Misaki wining her smashes while the Chinese hit out 18-12.

Might as well shorten the proceedings with a Japanese win 19-12.

Relentless pressure and tenacious defence from the JPN and they are on the verge of victory....

A matter of time now, game over soon, inevitably for the CHN WD.

That's life, things don't always go according to plan, often other factors come into play. Nothing is certain or permanent, except change.

All the hard work and sacrifices of the JPN are finally paying dividends, congratulations for the fine victory to Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi.

HKV firing on all cylinders on the get-go. Can he maintain that kind of pace all the way?

The usual slow-starting Chen Long is settling in nicely now, 11-8 in the lead.
