Karin played pretty well, I think, after she came back to the German national team. She already retired and only came back due to the lack of singles players. Let's not forget that she won bronze at the European Championship.

There's of course Olga Konon, but she's just coming back from major knee injuries. The next hope could be Yvonne Li, but she's only 16.

Yes I've seen one vid of Yvonne Li
She is quick young talented girl if she plans and executes well she can fill the empty place of WS which is still vacant after JS's retirement

Well, the Danes have Mia Blichfeld, Sandra-Maria Jensen and Anna Thea Madsen in addition to Line K. They all are quite promising.

Bella is not having good luck so far in many tournaments :( She had to face tough opponents early on. She has yet able to break through and advance.

Good victories for both Ivanov/Aswini and Dewalkar/pradnya gadre.

Gadre/Dewalkar has beaten 7th seeds. Unusual for an indian doubles pair.

    Yeah and especially in XD...
But the fact is selena and jaco although are higher ranked still hasn't reach a level of maturity...
And I Certainly never find Selena's rankings in both WD and XD..there level is much low yet high in rankings maybe because lots of switching and breaking if pair took place lately..

I was referring to your post regarding the rankings..I insisted that SN will remain higher in WR than RI..yes you were true about PV and TTY..
Well its good on Indian perspective..and I tthink PV will rise up after CHN open isn't it?? As I don't see TTY beating CM..
SJH plays si many tourneys this why I don't see SN rising anymore..she proves betterment of quantity over quality..still I hope the tides to turn after CHN and HKG open

Yes, I had a look at the rankings and realized I had miscalculated Ratchanok's points.

I don't think He BJ can handle Zhang BW tomorrow, she plays a tighter game, less error-prone and more patient than YipPY who is also less consistent.

I agree. ZB's footwork is better than YPY and she has the height too. How old is she?

Hm...BZ has shown great signs..a matter of concern for at least all the higher ranked opponents...she is much like PV Sindhi who once was an underdog and performed her best without thinking much of the result.
I see good signs and of course positive vibes from her
