Dexamethasone does seem like it's not an uncommon substance used in many different situations - dental, eye-drops, ear-drops etc.

I use it for my eczeme-skin problem too. It really helps those who have allergies. I think it shouldn't be banned. it's a very common drug.

As the accused, he doesn't have to be there but he has the right and privilege to be there to see that the sample is his and properly unsealed so that there's no question or doubt in his or anyone's mind that is his sample being tested.

It depends how it is used. It's the level of the drug in the body. The difficulty is a low level may have absolutely no effect on one person yet performance enhance another. So you have to set a threshold where it is very clear of no performance effect. That, in practice, means a very low level.

As mysterious as it is in the test, the first news that broke out in Bad Central was on page 592, post #10063 by losima but this post was removed and replaced by another post.

Would the "B" sample have the same outcome as above? :D

The test date for the B sample is 21st November, not 21st October.

ha. If a post is mostly taken up by irrelevant or frivolous "noise", the mods might well be compelled to delete it. Remember the IBF forum? ;)

So until this matter gets clarified, does it mean Datuk will be absent from the tournaments?

I was referring to this when I mentioned that the B sample has already been tested on the 21st.. since it "THE TESTING WAS COMPLETED ON THE 21ST" (month not mentioned), i assume it to be october and not november. Of course, we all know now that the news is not true and don't know which wong choong hann they contacted. So i was only trying to make sure that he couldnt be in anywhere near Norway on that day as he was celebrating his birthday with his family

IF 100% found guilty, then LCW will be BANNED from Rio 2016?

    according to Wikipedia:

"Dexamethasone is given in legal Bangladeshi brothels to prostitutes not yet of legal age, causing weight gain aimed at making them appear healthier and older to customers and police."

depends on how you see it, if LCW cannot play anymore, BAM has to buck up to look for his replacement.

Its not that BAM is doing nothing now, but BAM still can relly on LCW to deliver the good for 2 years +

Just like a staff who leave the company and the other colleague who are still there has to move up their play.

sorry. i don't think that'd go down too well if LCW use that as an excuse.

Sinar reported the test date as 16 Nov. Article some pages back.
Even our Msia press confused as to test date and result, some report result not out, some report not yet test.

Official one is follow KJ, sample B not yet test.

Why would you guys be so shocked if a top badminton player used PED?

It's not THAT uncommon in prof sports...
