LDK has MX80, if I recall correctly. (Well, that's what he had at the All England, and I've only seen that match at very low resolution.)
You're right, just had a look at his WC match and it does look like a Mx80. Got confused about KKJ btw, he was using the Mx80N when it first came out, not the Mx90. Since the TV court comes close to the worst possible schedule I haven't seen a single Korean MD match yet, so I can't say if he changed or not.... :/
What's baffling for me, is that Tai Tzu Ying is wearing SHB01LTD while playing Carolina Marin.... Clothes wise don't matter but surely the feel of the shoe will? A sudden change from Victor to SHB01... EDIT: Well, same for the rest I guess.. Chou is on SHBF1N.. won't affect?
And many aren't - some of the Koreans and the SH8500 seem to be a "cold, dead hands" (well, feet) situation.
Interesting to see Saralee and Sudket back with Yonex - both on NR-ZSP. Who were they using before? Kumpoo? (Sorry - I can't look at that word without laughing).
I believe they were both using XTRM Taiwanese brand iirc. Also any idea what Tsai was using? Looked a bit like a ZF but the butt cap clearly wasn't green even with the lousier quality of the court 2 stream.
am I missing something here Victor is a Korean company, right? Taipei aka Taiwan aka ROC = not Korean
Mark A are you sure? Because unless they're rolling out a new color I don't think the 8000 comes in black and white
Can't say I blame you man. After all the Korean team sponsorship is their most prominent one after all.
Probably because they're big sponsors of the Korean National Team, and the Chinese Taipei team for that matter. I own a few Victor rackets, none of which were bought in Korea, and they all have the Badminton Korea Association sticker and logo on them above the cone. Why? I have no idea.
