Nehwal played terribly, but still won easy.

Janet is surprised this is the final. "What happened to all the Chinese girls?"

Not unexpected, Saina wins it, she is definitely the better player today and throughout this tournament. Finally an oasis in the desert for Saina after one and a half year (?) at the SS level.

Huge relief for Saina. This SS title also validates her rejuvenation

    Chen Jin is not there.

Besides, burn out from the last two/three weeks.

Carolina Marin is a fantastic player and yelling at each and every point only makes her to lose energy and motivates the opponent. Both played really well in the entire tournament. Saina has improved a lot in her footwork and deception

Marin has the height but lacking in speed and a killer shot. She has some hard to read shot that can occasionally be useful like her around the head cross court smash and her forehand cross court smash return. But after a while the opponent starts to read those shot already.

Saina has her thundering smash that is very penetrating, even the top Chinese player don't always get those returned. It's is very effective once she gets a lift that is slightly short or when she has ample time to position herself.

I'd have replied,"Thanks to WSX, there's no CHN WS in the Final."

Lee SM is good. Just can't a partner at his level in Taiwan.

Can you imagine Lin Dan throwing his "LD' racquet into the crowd ?! I'd certainly want to be there to catch it, scramble or even fight for it.:D

kwun, I think Marin was a better player among the two until first 10 points after which Saina read her game. She came out too aggressive and paid the price. With all the shouts and stares she could not control her emotions. Her smashes were stinging and very fast because of her height but SN played really well to not to let her smash at will... Nervertheless, a worthy successor to Tine has come forth or may two...(Kirsty?)
adding more diversity to the top 10.

Lee Sheng Mu should quit the Chinese Taipei team and join a private club. He can probably find a much better partner in a private club. Imagine if he played with Finaldi or KKK.

GC doesn't sound enthusiastic talking about Lin Dan, the male commentator is.

A bit hesitant at the backline. Next he smashes wide.
