Bao/Tang on the defensive most of the time, just not the kind of game for them; they play best when attacking and counterattacking.

It's all upto Sayaka now. She has the capability to defeat Shixian considering their previous 2 meetings went the full distance. If Sayaka fails, it should be curtains for Japan. If she wins, Japan can remain hopeful.

Well, well, the Land of the Rising Sun is really shinning in this WD1 encounter with Takahashi smashing all the way. :)

What an easy G2 for JPN 21-9 with elder Takahashi contributing a lion's share.
It's now up to younger sister Sayaka to put JPN in front.

Now it's easier for me to remember their names.

Ayaka is older, add an "S" for Sayaka, it is the younger Takahashi. :)

Sayaka has to cut down on the errors - it was appalling to watch her against Sindhu yesterday. If she can manage that, she has a good chance of beating WSX.

I really don't see the second Chinese WD losing so it may all come down to WYH to deliver the final point for China. How exciting!

In team championships, world ranking doesn't count for very much, it's character, emotions, temperaments, fighting spirit that tilts the balance one way or the other, more often than not.
