I used to lift the dropshots before, placing my foot too close to the net. Now I’m better with it and I put it about the service line.But if the dropshot is slow or high enough and I have a good opportunity to push it into the midcourt, then with such a lunge I can’t stretch my racket a little bit above the upper side of the net.Maybe I should come to the net for pushing in some other way, other than when defending from dropshot? Anticipating what to do next – lift to the rear or push to the midcourt.
