Is an Ontario C player = USAB C player?

    Anyone know how similar Ontario B/C/D level is to USAB B/C/D level?
    Thinking of playing in some opens in Ma..

    Well, it really depends on where you play in the US. In the US it's based on what your ranking or level in Canada is. It will be based on how you do in the tournaments your participate on. Hey, you'll never know that you might be a stronger player here than you are in Canada. So, we'll never know until how you do in your next tourney. Keep us posted.

    What does that have to do with anything? That's just a highschool provincial tournament... If you think the calibre is equal to open provincials then think again. Lots of the top players in Ontario do not even bother playing in this tournament because it's sub par for them. Univesity level is the standard, not OFFSA.

    Does anyone know if there's a difference between an Ontario C level and a USAB C level player? Or are they roughly even?

    It really varies. You really have to check yourself.
