I also in the opinion that since the server stand further behind...if a bad serve, it will hit his partner first, hahaha
Actually isn't it easier to control the "highest point" of the shuttle if you're standing further from the net?
No. It's harder to be accurate over the tape the further away you serve. Anyways just play a game of XD or watch some pro XD games on youtube and you'll understand.
The problem with lim is nerve, not control. These pro can probably serve a million perfect serve in training. The nearer you you stand to the opponent, the pressure, especially when these pro stand so near to the net. in mx, he can hide behind the woman, hahaha
and not forgetting match temperament and consistency is key also. too much rushing and excitement in trying to kill the bird.
they tried so hard, and yet they cannot make it, thanks to the services faults... dunno how they gonna deal with them again in Thomas Cup... Singapore SS: at the 2nd game while leading 20-19, LimKW served to the wrong court (he was supposed to serve to his left opponent but he served to his opponent's right court)... Gosh, I can't believe my eyes... BAM, pls send LimKW to "Nervous Management Course"... boleh? LOL
I did post numerous time about psychology endurance for this pair. Doing drills all day wont change anything if they are mentally weak
It's an easy trick for the opponent when LimKW was about to serve... just tried to hold back n put more pressure on LimKW... then he would start wrecking his nerve and serve short or into the net, or worse, serve to the WRONG court... YES, he did it TWICE during this match (vs KOR pair)... go watch the replay if possible...
This pair should go back to basic. Doesn't matter whose fault, since their are a pair, need to work things out.
Tan Boom Heong? With both players with powerful smashes? Who is going to be the one creating the chances at the front?
plz send them for basic shuttle serving course instead... go back and learn the basic fundamental...giving away serving error is such a waste!!
