Today at everything was going fine, it (UPK) played as normal. I went down to hit a big smash, at impact I heard a loud cracking noise, and I looked down I stood there with only the handle in my hand. The frame had flown and hit the wall, so the racket cracked at tree spots. It was strung at 31LBS if that matters. This must definitely be a manufactor fault.

Another happy Revelation owner here. What's this about removeable weights in the handle? Is there a how-to for this or do I have to butcher an old racquet to practice getting the cap off? I want to see how these handle being a bit head heavier without adding overall weight with lead tape.

Is the shaft on the revelation progressive? It's a lovely balance of easy power vs responsive enough. So far it seems most similar to the MX60 out of the rackets I've tried. I still can't get my head around how much heavier the swing weight fells compared to static. DO like!

I don't know originally but it's at 95g 283 with vs850 and 3 layers of rkep g10 on the handle. I'd guess 85/285 ish. I'll put stock grip on when I cut these strings out. Assuming the kitchen scale is accurate.

    Dear Master Panda,

Please design your next racquets to be stronger at the frame from bottom holes 5-12 ;)

All three of my Ultra Pro Kevlars have had the frame slightly sunk in even though I strung them at 34lbs (1lb shy of the maximum warranted 35lbs). The Yonex continuous grommets are not applicable either due to the dissimilar hole sizes.

Blitz: Panda thinks you just solved the reason why racket manufacturers don't warranty anything over 28lbs. (at least usually). The racket frames can all take 30+lbs., it's the grommets that can't take it...

...this is why Panda always rotates the grommets 45 degrees after 1-3 string jobs when stringing 30lbs. or higher.

Panda has experimented with thicker, stronger grommets but they reduce the feel (good vibration) and performance of the racket.

Some one needs to come up with stiffer, stronger individual grommets that can take 30+lbs. consistently without losing performance.

You have a good point, Master Panda.

That could be the concept behind the "tungsten infused grommets" which Yonex came up with recently.

However from my humble experience, the strongest "conventional" frame design is pretty much the old Muscle Power 100. The bumps and curvature of the frame into the grommet hole seems to help with the caving-in of the carbon graphite due to the high tension. For your consideration~

Blitz: no way on the MP100 being the strongest frame. While the MP grommets may prevent the string from cutting into the frame, those frames could barely take 30lbs. Panda has broken more than 5 MP 100s just from mishitting the shuttle on the side of the frame. The MP frames are among the most fragile frames in the last 20 years... It's definitely the MP grommets that are helping it.

    Are u seriouuuuuuussss....??? :D
40lbs is about 18kg. I am a stringer and have strung many great players. Everage they have 14-15Kg for Men players and 13kg for women.

Anyway, please make a video when you are stringing. I want to see it. So excited. ;)

Another Ultra Pro - Kevlar (UPK) owner here. Many thanks to Mark A. for the item, excellent sales service.

Bros, what exactly is the spec of the shaft of UPK (from top to bottom)?

Soooo... How long till these TProKs? Had my beloved PPro cave on a mishit smash tonight so I'm really rather grumpy.

In fact, will there ever be more PPros? Never played with a better racket.

Update: just received, today, the new Trinity Pro prototypes as well as the Titan prototypes. The Titan swings faster and is supposed to be more stable and more powerful than the Precision Pro...

...so, we'll see how the testing goes and then see what will be produced.

Just FYI: rackets are produced based on demand.

Indeed, the Titan sounds very interesting if it's similar spec to the PPro.

I merely ask because my dwindling stocks mean I only have a UPro, TPro and a Kason F9 intact, and given injuries, the UPro is now so far out of spec as to be unplayable with my shoulder so more or less a like for like replacement of the PPro x2 or x3 is my current plan and then I might offload some of the others.

    Update: Racket testing...

+Trinity Pro Kevlar (TPK) is nearly as solid in feeling as the UPK and much less demanding. It's significantly stronger than the TP which didn't "appreciate" 30lbs.; the TPK PT had no problems with 32lbs. More testing tonight...

+The "Titan" is the new fastest swinging Panda Power racket. It swings noticeably faster than the PPro and hits about has hard. More testing is needed of course. Panda got about 15 Titan PTs and one gentleman (who owns 3 Revs and 3 UPKs) hit with a matte white Titan PT for about 5 minutes and immediately asked how many Panda had in white. Panda said "four". He immediately bought all four. :p

Additionally, a few others purchased PTs as well after hitting with them. Colors...a neon green, another all matte black, another winter green...

...supposed to be a few more people interested so the TITAN looks promising and should make production.

More testing in about an hour...
