The heat started becoz china team did not push the shuttle back to opponent side after they make mistake on the net. And this happen at beginning of 1st game. But gvs attitude in court is really too much. Really hope they can change this attitude..

But nevertheless, they played a very good game.....

LKW likes to give people the stink eye after winning points at the net. He actually does it quite often, even against pratama/saputra.

In fact I can make a drinking game out of it.
Do a shot everytime LKW misses a serve
down the whole drink when LKW walks up to the net and does the stink eye.
when the pair taunts, last person to lift their arms and wave will have to down a drink.

I watch the 1st game again and I think GVS started it first after they won the long rally where he smashed a lot.

He put up his hand waving come on come on.

And LKW's staring after he won a point is also not good.

As much as I am rooting for them to win MO14 MDF being the forgotten and unpriviledged child in BAM, enjoy this SSP win as it is not gonna come often, in fact not again with these serving. Unless they improve in a hurry and that needs top coach like a Rexy type to guide them, they will be kicked so hard in the next SS that supporters will jump right out of the band wagon. They won as Hong/Zhao played worse.

LKW really needs to work on his service. It's always been his weak point. I think Goh V Shem/Tan Boon Heong combo might deliver better results.

Yes, Lim needs a lot of work on his service. But Goh/Tan is not a good combination because neither excel at fore and midcourt, where most of today's fast MD is won.

I suppose Goh/tan was the plan before bam change their decision, after pleading.

Lim is actually very good at intercepting at front court but he is weak in serve, this kind of make things hard for him to excel at front.

Goh is the strong smasher but he has to serve and then move his way to the back.

They combination doesn't sound right .

Easy, then ask Lim to stand in front when Goh is serving, like in XD. No disrespect to Lim if it works.

Some of my male players stand in front when I am serving and they are happy.

Good to eat a bit of humble pie.

Such annoyance will not last. Opponents can also do the same. No longer fun to watch such behaviours. ;)

I've tried looking for the video, but I couldn't find :
    Goh/Lim vs Boe/Mo.

Has anyone seen it? I'd like to see how they managed to beat them, considering the Danes are well known for their mental tactics. :)

Hahaha! That was exactly how I felt at the closing match points when Lim's turn to serve...don't serve into the freaking net or short. I was holding my breath. O Mama-mia.

Lol... More exciting that way, otherwise we say Malaysia badminton boring. ;)

But credit to him, he either serves an excellent one that just skims the net, or he harikiri into the tape. And he fortunately makes up for it by his aggressive service returns, great interceptions, and deft net play.

Now if I were his coach Pang, I'd force him to serve 1000 times a day just for practice until AE 2014, with one day off for Chinese new year of course. :p

I don't think LKW has problem with 1000X serves at practice or more practices just to improve serves. I think he was very nervous being this was MDF and SSP event. Serving to tallman Hong, high serve gets a kill or out. Low serve must not be too high or get smoked as well, ideally just skimmed the net but as we seen it was into the net so many times and at crucial times on top of that. GVS serve I don't recall any that hit the net, he was calm and steady, good smash though. Fortunately the CHN pair made just as many errors. I said this mAS pair will not win another SSP but I would be glad to be wrong.
