You might want to learn the definition of "unforced error". What you're describing is "forced error", which I agree occurred quite often towards the end of that 2nd set. However, in the 1st set, they were mostly (if not all) "unforced" errors. Nice 2nd set anyway. And again, never been wrong hehe.

China has 3 WS to dominate and I don't see others up to the mark to challenge them in the OG2016. IR faces the same fate as LCW where she has to face off with the "three musketeers" WYH/WSX/LXR

Well, WYH extends her shutout over Intanon R, H2H 8 - 0 now. Perseverance and fighting spirit won the day for WYH.

Except IR has already beaten one of those "musketeers" and won a major (and at the youngest ever age too). LCW has never done that, and will always be a failure in many people's eyes. IR is nothing like LCW.

It's now up to Fu Haifeng and Hong Wei to make it a clean sweep for China here. What a start to the new year for Team CHN !

That's LCW's fate. If he doesn't win the WC this year (which I don't think he ever will if both LD and CL participate), he will never ever win a WC and OG. That's life, just accept it

I don't think they are ready to challenge the three musketeers yet as I expect them to dominate the WS till OG2016, to say the least

I know it's LCW's fate. But it's not IR's fate, like you said above. IR is only 18 and she's already won a major, beating China's best (at the time). Even if IR never wins anything again, she's already done better than LCW, in my opinion. Like in tennis, I believe it's the majors that count the most. LCW has beaten a host of players for numerous SS titles in arguably the weakest Men's Singles era ever. Nothing special about that.

i thought LCW still have a good chance in WC.

he just need to time his fitness. forget about all these prize money, he has enough dough already. just focus on his training so he will peak at the WC. like this match, he was obviously not in very good shape. it was ok against WZM or Tago. but once CL level player step into court, he can't perform anymore.

as for the Olympics. well. another 2.5 yrs. that could be tough. he can forget about it. Chen Long is getting better and more mature and faster every match.

it seems to be that every time LCW beat CL, it is just normal. and everytime CL beat LCW, it is remembered.
