First round fodder again, at Cheshire.
    16-17, 12-15 in an hour
gave away far too many easy points
    more work needed on consistency...

How did you do in the Berkshire/suffolk (Slanter +Matt)

Also anyone going to Leicester open (5th march?) or Yorkshire satelite (hull) april 9th?

I am trying to do the Yorkshire one but I seem to always have a niggling injury on the go. Not sure about Leicester (closing date gone) but will probably go to watch.

Good to see Neil still at it, after my experience at Cornwall and gaining a couple of stone it made me think twice :crying: (well singles anyway) ;)

    Still going to Hull
I've even put on a few pounds to give me extra, errr, slowness around the court.
    Damn it!
Who prepared this training plan? Ronald McDonald?

I think you have to be any of:

    directly affiliated to the BAofE
affiliated to the BAofE through a club
affiliated to another national Badminton Association

I think this season, all clubs that affiliated to a County association had to affiliate all their members to the BAofE.

LIBA membership would not qualify you (as far as I know)

I don't think you can apply to the baofe directly to play satellite tourneys, you have to go through a club.

Last year I played for a club that did not affiliate it's members to the BAofE
So to be eligible for satellites I went directly to the BAofE and got an OnCourt membership.

It may have changed since last year, I don't know, my new club does affiliate it's members so I haven't continued the OnCourt membership

OnCourt did not make you eligible for Inter County Competition
for Inter County you had to be a member through a club

Lost in first round at Berkshire in three sets. Was on court well over an hour, they had started some third round games before I had finished. It was good watching Suzanne and Lisa go through the ladies competition without the loss of a point! I like it when the Hampshire contingent don't get it all their own way - the sulky looks from some of their ladies when they see good opposition on the draw is priceless.

Me still. Dunno about the draw.
I'll be the slow-moving old guy.
