Last month I broke my TiSP during a friendly game. It's a tiny crack on the frame, but it made my racquet deformed due to force-unbalancing. A smash, and I heard an weird sound. The similar thing happened to my Cab21 also, so I just wonder if it is the racquet, the stringing or my technique that cause the crack?

    Wow!

    Dang, that looks expensive!

How did you get your racquets strung up? What tensions where they strung up at? Did you have a crack in your racquet before the string up? If you have a crack in your racquet, then it could be compromised during play.

Was your smash a frame shot? If not I would think that the tesion on the string was above the recommened stringing tension of the racket.

I reckon its a bad string job with a 6-point machine, too much pressure on one side of the racquet weakening the frame... maybe under/over secure on one side

those are yonex rackets and just cause you have a yonex racket doesnt mean that it wont break

From the look of the pictures, I believe it is a stringing problems also. Maybe try a differnet stringer or try a lower tension and make sure no racket crash.

Is the green racket the toalson cyberlogic one?

Is the green racket the toalson cyberlogic one?

With no major clash, i would say could be due to stringing.

Btw, i avoid bras basah 3rd floor Zenith, the stringing could be the cause of my racket deformation one time and i have heard some complaints also, btw i think it is one of those few places selling toalson rackets also, he recommended very highly the cyberlogic series

Yeah, the green one is a Toalson Cyberlogic :)

I also suspect the crack is cause by stringing faults, as both YY racquets were strung by an old machine (not sure how many points it has).
