Congrats to Tago for his first win against LCW. Most of the time when they are on tv, it's the final and seeing Tago losing, it's kind of sad for him. I was anticipating for his wild celebration but it didn't happen. Kind of anti-climax. Also, the umpire was kind of fussy.

LCW's recent losses is quite similar with Roger Federer's in tennis. You can't be at the top forever. Time is almost up. He has to be selective in which tournament he wants to win. Or is it just a transition period, to try out new things?

KKK/TBH is thanking HTH/TWK for eliminating LYD/YYS for their first final for a while now.

Indeed, we often witness Lee CW as last man standing for MAS camp.

Almost all finalists are unpredictable to progress so far except XD category, 1st v 2nd seed.

MS : Tago v Jorgensen, will Tago finally clinch his first ever SS title?
WS : Porntip v Wang SX, 4-1 to Wang SX favour, last meeting Pontip won it, it's gonna be tough match
MD : The most surprising outcome, out of form Malaysian pair Koo KK/Tan BH reached final and will challenge the underdog Fernaldi/Kido
WD : Three finals to Bao YX/Tang JH in three consecutive weeks, hat-trick for them to beat the Olympic Champion?

Just now checked the result.. LCW is out !!!!.. Kenichi tago won it finally after 14 times !!!.. Definitely, he will think of his future tournaments carefully instead of participating in each and every tournament... Definitely Kenichi Tago has the edge.

I dare LYB to call for the Olympic Champion ZYL/TQ walkover in the final WD tomorrow to boost Bao Yixin/Tang JinHua's ranking.

I double dare LYB to call for 2 walk-overs in the MD and XD tomorrow.
BYX/TJH over ZYL/TQ and MJ/XC over ZN/ZYL. BYX/TJH needs the boost in their ranking and MaJin/XuChen needs to be ranked 2nd to overtake Natsir/Towi.

No need to give WOs. Just play a fake match.

Do you want to bet that either one WD or XD tomorrow to be won by Walk over? I am just stating the likely possibility. There is no crying. I am glad there is no Chinese playing MD and MS tomorrow.

Yeap, LCW had been reaching the finals so often that it seems odd not to see him there. But then again, what goes up must come down (one day). LCW had been giving his best for Malaysia's badminton all these years. There will come a time when he has to take a step back but he will always be remembered as one of the greatest badminton player of recent times.

As for KKK/TBH, hmmm... looking at their recent form at DO 2013, I am not very optimistic of them winning, hopefully they can prove us wrong.

I guess Tago didn't appear elated or show much emotion after beating Lee CW may be because he felt it was long overdue after 15 attempts. For a top 10 player which he is for quite a long time to win only once against the world ranked number 1 isn't really something to shout about, the more so when he could be thinking Lee CW wasn't quite playing his best for some reason or other.

It is high time Lee CW at age 31 starts slowing down a fair bit and be more selective of tournaments played in addition to the need to adjust his game from an explosive attacking one to a more balanced all-rounded style; otherwise it won't be just a temporary phenomenon but a definite sign of his going downhill sooner than we expected.

Just think, even when he is on top of his game, Lee CW still lost to Chen Long who is not superior to him in terms of skills but more of physicality and athleticism which translate into speed, power and amazing retrieving ability.

Unfortunately, after yesterday's unexpected and unintended downfall, Lee CW cannot take a short rest yet as he has to almost immediately fly to China for the CBSL for two days of league competition on 2nd and 7th Nov, followed by the China Open PSS commencing 12th Nov.
