Been awhile since I last visited BC. I thought Adidas was going to be all the rage but it doesn't seem to be a whole lot a people willing to lay down the $$ to try them out.

I'm quite excited to test them out, but more like a demo, rather than purchase.

Until some top 10 players use them, traction would be slow.

When I swung them in store (while I was there to check out the Z Speed), they all felt like they have pretty "safe" specs, ie medium stiff, even balanced to slightly HH. Nothing extreme like FB or Z Speed. ;)

My APP is excellent. Bulky frame but very manoeuvrable. Stiffness is slightly less than the MX-JJS.
I may have a lighter sample as my wet weight with ZM65 and G09 is only @ 95.76g so my dry weight is most likely 86g. Wet BP is around 290mm.

You know how rackets feel different when you change from nylons to feathers?
Well on most my rackets, the difference is not that huge but on the APP, it transforms into a totally different beast.
It's quite lively as well. In between Yonex and Victor but slightly more towards Victor. However that could also be due to choice of the strings as well.

Would feeling different for feathers and nylons be a good thing or bad?

Good. Probably something to do with the oversized head.
I have used it for plenty of fast doubles games and it has never let me down.

The difference if probably more due to the ZM65. No issues with nylons.
Now that all my rackets have ZM62 @ 24lbs, if I were to be blindfolded, I would not be able to tell the difference between the APP and my Legend II. Similar stiffness and agility.

Yeah, I felt that APP was a really solid racket that had high degree of playability, despite the fact that it's specs are completely unsuited to me. It's a stiff racket though, don't be mistaken. Probably around BS10 level stiffness, but not as stiff as the MX80. Much more solid feeling than the MX80, not 'metallic'.

Still, I was slowing down after even one game with it :) Too much racket for this old dog.

Ungh, I'm such a dork! I'm getting swing weight confused with head weight.

My golden spec is 89g swing weight.
