Got the results now....doesn't seem to be promising for the other XD pairs projected to be at the WJC. Another reshuffling needed perhaps? So, only Kevin/Masita and Alfian/Yantoni manage to progress to QF of XD and BD respectively. That is totally unacceptable! And we have not yet seen the better junior pairs from Korea, Thailand, TPE, MAS, let alone China.
Let Kevin partner Rafi back and Arya to partner Yantoni! As for XD, it's a goner...unless Kevin/Masita can be pushed to win a medal in the WJC. The other pairs are simply too weak to even progress to R16 (including Rafi/Setyana) of WJC.

I watch some matches yesterday. my fave and everyone fave is the pair of Rizko Asuro/Wildan Atmaja. seriously, they are quite impressive. they play a true indonesia style with many fast drive exchange. Rizko is very talented. calm, fast, and very powerful. but both of them is quite tiny. it's very strange that their name is not popular. and maybe their achievement was not good ? but i remember they had 1 sirnas title in hand ? not so sure Yantoni/Fajar is not bad. Fajar is very fast at the net. meanwhile, no wonder, many said that yantoni is very talented, and he is. his SMASH IS VERY BIG! Btw, watch out for Thailand WD in the future. They have a new version of Wang Xiaoli. Her name is Chanisa or something (not so sure). I was very impressed with her serve return, mobility on court, and of course her smash. looks like a boy. above of all, she is very tall. just like xiaoli but chanisa is way more cute oh ya, djarum pair felicia/pair will have a good future. because both of them very cute esp felicia.
I believe, if yantoni is paired with Kevin, no pair can stop them in WJC. yesterday, alfian/yantoni beat hantoro/ricky with a very nice power play. so, today, SF MD will be alfian/yantoni, rizko/wildan, rian/clinton, and once more but i forget the result of tangkas pair (viky anindita/pair) vs mutiara pair (rhainhard danriano/pair) another tangkas pair, willian/ikal is also interesting. almost beat rizko/wildan in rubber. ikal is very powerful. but limited skill. this power game will only works in junior, not in senior. setyana/rosyita will be a future WD. please keep them. i think both can be our Top world WD. and challenge the China team. impressed with Setyana smash. looks like hendra setiawan. haha. both smash is very big for women. need time to gel. and setyana should train more how to drive and handle net game. febriani/della, very so so. watching them play, makes me realize that our whole WJC team is VERY WEAK.
for MS, actually i want to watch my fave Eska Rivan Jaya vs Feby Ardiansyah. but Anthony Ginting vs Firman Abdul Kholiq caught my eye. very good game. 1st set, Firman won 21-15. Firman lead 14-11 in 2nd game, and Ginting was very frustated. but then, due to stamina, Firman made some errors, give Ginting confidence, then he won 2nd game 21-19. 3rd set was for Ginting as Firman was exhausted and thanks to Ginting experience in many international tourney during his time in Pelatnas. Firman is interesting talent. He is left hander. we know that INA is very rare to have a good left hander MS player. what good of him is his strokes. makes him looks very easy to make any shot. but he is still very raw, no experience. he also often lift the shuttle to the middle of the court. in other court, rico hamdani lost (i dont know the opponent), and i think eska won. uswatun khasanah/masita mahmudin won against febriani/della. chanisa/pair from thailand won. will be interesting if chanisa/pair meet setyana/rosyita. this SHOULD be in the final.
so glad to see Gregoria and Fitriani won their matches against the pelatnas players. Yess, arinda is good. 3 of them could be our hope
very interesting. just got to AA, i dont know how fitriani play. haha gregoria is the real talent WS we have right now. i think she is not like fitriani, or hana or ruselly. why i say this ? because her age is real. and we know that she is only 14 yo (born 99). her cross court shots (either drop shot or smash) is very good (for her age). so sad, tomorrow cannot go here. i have job. omg, working in saturday
arinda is another type of player who have the basic skill. she needs good coach. might be a very late bloomer like lindaweni. but it's ok for me. since i think, arinda has better talent compare to lindaweni.

Comparing fitriani and gregoria, i think gregoria has more stroke variation. Her game is also hard to read because she play smart (with good technique). But she is still lack of power, which is okay lah considering she is still 14 (1 year younger than fitri). Fitri more self composure and steady for her age, her power and footwork also good. For Arinda (also intan dj), considering her age now is already 17 i think she is way too late to be world class WS player where now world WS player tend to be younger and younger. And from what i saw ArindaVSGregoria, arinda mostly only rely on her power which is stronger than gregoria but other than that gregoria much better than arinda. Btw, Anthony SG is quite good and got a talent. His footwork is light and fast, good nett play and has jumping smash. But considering his already 17 yo and so short posture i am not so sure that he can be more promising than jonathan christrie....
Hanna, ruzelli and fitriani age's as not like as it writen on pbsi website? Hmmm Agree.. from her face, gregoria seem like an 14 yo girl, not like the other girl, tiny but her real age was 18 yo?.... peace ah
