I think it's 50-50 between Cai/Fu and Setiawan/Ahsan. The winner will be the next world champion.

NEVER EVER underestimate the champions! Among all MD doubles players,
    • Cai has 4 championship rings: 2006, 2008; 2009; 2011
    • Fu has 4 championship rings: 2006, 2008; 2009; 2011
    • Setiawan got 1: 2007
    • Nobody else has any!

I saw Setiawan many times on TV, he looks exactly like a cold face assassin. His eyes always like white dead fish belly. I think he's the biggest headache for Cai/FU in their whole career.

most badminton fans seems to get more excited when the matches are played between different nations. so this may be a good for spectators.

it is also very encouraging to see different nations getting into the latter stage. India stood out in this tournament with 3 quarterfinalists and 1 semifinalists. but most special is Ratchanok (THA) who for the first time is playing in a WC final.

INA also seems to be recovering with finalists in MD and MX. while Korea is hanging on with just one pair in the final.

its been an interesting WC with many youngsters especially in the WS impressing us...TTY, Sindhu, Rat and Marin....WS will be very interesting in the years to come...not much surprises in the MS and MD...probably the only "upset" in the XD is the loss of CP/JFN
