but tomorrow he will be up against (most likely) Boonsak :(
so hard.... anyway, Wisnu has ever defeated Nguyen Tien Minh, Boonsak is not much better than Nguyen.
so, Wisnu should have a chance. although quite slim

Srikanth, prannoy, gurusaidutt, anand pawar, saurabh varma and sai praneeth are almost even. Anybody can beat anyone on a given day. Ajay Jayaram and kashyap dont seem to be that competitive anymore, irrespective of their rankings.

Srikanth and Prannoy have ability to frequently stun stronger opponents. Good to see Srikanth in the semis. I wouldnt be surprised even if he makes it to the finals. Good day for India considering MS result.

Saina is going Kashyap, Jayram's way. Way past her peak, I guess.

Aiying was S'pore's no.1 but did not improve after winning the US Open years ago. She is the most experienced and now that her teammates have progressed pretty well under Luan Jin, it's time for her to buck up and be counted.

Rajiv Ouseph saved 7 match points to force deuce and seal second game, 23-21. What a waste by Boonsak...

Rajiv Ouseph just won 7 points in a row from 20-13 down and ended up taking the second game against Boonsak.

At the same time Adcock and Ellis just won 7 points in a row against Kido and Chandra and also ended up winning their game.

    Nice symmetry :D

    Sigh! Alvent/Kido lost narrowly to ENG pair Adcock/Ellis, 15-21 / 21-13 / 19-21.

Tomorrow he is going to meet the local player. Let's see how he performs. I have full belief in him.

Yes.. You are correct. Top 2 WS players are without a single title this year (Li Xuerui, Saina). Even Yihan has GPG title so far but not Superseries title. This proves how difficult for WS players this year. So, Indonesian Open will be very tough i guess. Sindhu has very tough opponents on her way in Indonesian open than Saina Nehwal. Sindhu is placed in the branch where Yihan, SungJi HYun, Li xuerui are placed. Let's see how she does. But i have hope on her. She is blooming day by day. I am very much impressed by her performances. Saina have to take rest for few months and then come back.

Somehow Saina's fitness and speed have deserted her. She looked lethargic and this gave GJ a chance to move her around and win decisive points despite making a number of unforced errors.
