Further to my post #520 of this thread, I want to highlight that

there was an almost identical discussion on this thread for Armortec800OF but for serial no. 4405562 starting with post #429, then #430 and #431 on page 24 and then continue at post #434--438 on page 25.

Your friend's Armortec 500 SP was keyed in to my list of Yonex rackets, its serial no. of 4423928 date code of 230634SP (date=23 Jun 2003) fits in neatly between a Ti-10 serial no. of 4421514 date code 190637SP (date=19 Jun 2003) and an Armortec 700 serial no. of 4433238 date code 300635JP (date=30 Jun 2003)

IMHO, your friend's Armortec 500 should be a genuine Yonex racket.

The earliest date kept in my list for Armortec 500 is 10 Jun 2003 with serial no. of 4408297 date code 100634CH.

So I presume the year of production for Armortec 500 is mid 2003.

PS While I am posting this reply, cooler beat me to your reply on the year of production

Both the serial nos. and date codes are OK. I have replied your PM

However to be certain you should also examine physically other features of the rackets to make sure it is genuine Yonex rackets.

I keyed in to list of Yonex rackets serial nos. and date codes. (2nd series for Yonex rackets designed in Japan and made in Taiwan)

    Your Carbonex 8400 7354557 110643DK 9date=11 Jun 2004) fits in neatly between 2 Muscle Power rackets of serial nos. and date codes -- 7126257 250243SP (date=25 Feb 2004) and 7401348 070743UK (date=7 Jul 2004).

    IMHO, it is real.

Your Yonex Nanospeed7000 serial number 5302451 datec code 281242JP (date=28 Dec 2004) is the second Nanospeed7000 compiled by me after serial no. 5253896 date code 291142JP (date=29 Nov 2004). Its serial no. is the highest on my list of Yonex rackets.

IMHO, no one can doubt its authenticity.

First time I come across Bfer from my home town Kuching Srarwak

I keyed in the data of your AT700 serial no. 4553948 and 4553949 both date codes of 220934SP (date=22 Sep 2003). They fit in neatly between 2 AT700 serial no. 4551782 date code 190934TH (date= 19 Sep 2003) and serial no. 4556711 date code 230935SP (date=23 Sep 2003).
IMHO they are genuine Yonex rackets.

Bad news for your AT800 DE and OF.

Your AT 800-DE serial no. 4828704 and 4828651 should carry the date code of either 22034xSP or 23034xSP (date should be 22 or 23 Mar 2004). Their date codes of 0105042SP didn't match the standard format (6-digits+2-letters) of DDMMYxCC

Your AT 800-OF serial no. 4408895 and 4408781 should carry date code of 10063xSP or 11 063xSP (date should be 10 or 11 Jun 2003). For the date code of 281042SP (date=28 Oct 2004), the serial no. should be close to 52xxxxx.

Where did you purchase your AT800?

Serial no and date code of Armortec Limite Edition and Nanospeed7000

So far I have compiled only 1 Armortec Limited Edition (0995/5000) serial no. 4895925 date code 280446SP and 2 Nanospeed7000 serial no. 5253896 date code 291142JP and 5304251 date code 281242JP.

Appeal for the owners of Armortec Limited Edition and Nanospeed7000 to post their data to this thread.

    Hey,
    Just got a Ti-10 LONG SP 3UG4!
I never knew it existed because I thought there was only 2U SP and 3U TW racquets.
I bought the racquet from Luxis Sports, so I have good faith in it's authenticity.
    Anyways:
    4920417 1305471P

I also have an AT500 3UG3 that was bought in July 2003. Codes are:
    4456300 180734CD
