Considering WYH lost to Lindaweni in recent All England, LYB can't afford not to put LXR out there.

Even if indonesians lose their tie with china, we need to praise their ability against china.. Only drawback is their singles' players.. In future tournaments, there will be somebody who can win against chinese doubles pairs comfortably..

The LXR we know and admire is back ! What a display of master class, playing like a MS. Thanks to players like LXR, eg WYH, WX, J Schenk, Tine B, Intanon R,Sung JH,Saina N,Sayaka T - WS have become very good to watch, often as good as the MS, sometimes even better than most of the MS matches (for me).

Quite true, MS (sometimes MD) matches were somehow less interesting than WD/WS

Wang/Yu v Liliyana/Nitya, 21-12. CHN only needs 1 game to secure semifinal ticket.

it was a good fight, and INA did win what they are capable of.

winning WS/WD/MS are a bit far fetched with their strength today.

WXL/YY lost intentionally to the Koreans, non-Chinese pair in the Olympics and they were summarily dismissed for such travesty. I wish that YY stay retired for good, INA would have a chance today.

Frankly, I don't expect LXR to handle the pressure-cooker, do-or-die situation so well. She's been thrown into the cauldron,so to speak, and emerged like a female knight in shining armour, an all-conquering amazon.

Haha, why? ^^ Unfortunately I can't watch it live at the moment.
Who's the "man" in this WD duel? :D

Let me guess: You mean Yu Yang? :p
