Nobody pouts like Minatsu Mitani, hence the drama queen moniker

An all-Korea MD finals! I love watching 2Kim playing; they look tike two overgrown cubs just having a ball, cuffing and smacking the bird.

Pardon me, I'm still in the middle of the waking-up process... :p

    Sunday:

I'm still expecting MJ/TJH to take the title.
I'd give WYH a 51-49 for the WS title. But if it goes to a decider, her chances will be 30-70
At last year's BAC, DPY beat CL in 3 games. It could be payback time, now. Or not. Or yes.
    Where's that coffee???

I sense a huge tinge of sarcasm :D.
Seriously, I wonder what the prospects are for Nozomi in being selected to play in tournaments like the Sudirman Cup, or even the Uber Cup, with so much talent in the WS discipline. Seems like there is a brilliant player emerging every couple of years or even less, the latest one, IMO, being Akane Yamaguchi. Chances for participating must be perilous in the Sudirman Cup, given there is only one WS representative per match. Anyway, such stiff competition is really good for the sport :).

Definitely no sarcasm. I appreciate a good haiku :)

It's gonna be tough for Nozomi getting into a Uber or Sudirman Cup. Right now it looks like she is a little down the pecking order. She needs to introduce more to her repertoire to be competitive at this level

    Lol, you recognised the form.
    The fake haiku.
It's a pleasure for badminton fans to see good players coming up the ranks, but a struggle for them in jostling for a place to be in the selected list. Didn't expect to see Sayaka T come out of the blues so suddenly, as well as the up and coming Akane. There is always doubles to fall back on, if things don't work out well.

JPN WS is doing a THA WS. Very similar and rapid progress. So refreshing.

    Should I do those sentences haiku-style? :D

Only players from 2 countries in today's final : CHN (7 representatives), KOR (3) and only XD match that involving 2 finalists from different flag. Three defending champs Li Xuerui, Kim KJ/Kim SR and Zhang N/Zhao YL will battle to retain their title here, the Chinese XD is fave to create hat-trick while Li XR & Kim/Kim have really tough opponent.
