Ah.. had 4 and a half hours of badminton in Megah today. Hehe.

Guest I have sent you a private message for the Taman Megah badminton hall's number.

Well, today when I played until 6.30pm no one played after me.. every other court was being used though. You can call them up and try asking.

So far the prive has been raised 3 times already! Lol. I tried persuading his daughter to ask her dad to give students of Michael's Badminton Academy discount when we use the court but nothing changed. Oh well, no longer under MBA anyway.

I emailed them, they said 'about 3.30pm to 7pm'. No doubt it won't start at 3.30pm though, Malaysian time mah. Lol. Plus the word 'about' there.

But beginning quite boring wan.. they'll promote Help Institute by some talk. Gets a bit more interesting when you get to see the display match.. and they'll train us some really really basic strokes later on.

Simple, but fun. Get to see old friends too.

The objective? To get us school kids to attend their college in the future.;)

Well , people also have to make money as well. It takes alot of investment to build a badminton court.

    Current price?

    Heyo all,

Was just wondering how much is the current price for playing at Megah now? I'm returning from canada for a few weeks in august; looking for some casual games to have fun. Asus and Joanne, maybe we can meet there to play...IF you don't mind playing with lousy fella :p Never had proper lessons so you'll be up against my famous (or rather infamous) "ROJAK STYLE" Take c

Take note, Joanne's an academy and school representative. Underestimate her at your own peril. :)

Lol! I'm only a school player. Not even a district player.:( How great can I be? Have you seen how some 'school players' play during MSSD?

Anyway, RM14 per hour on weekdays I believe. More on weekend.

Asus if you're willing to learn many are willing to teach.;) Many good coaches around, you just have to ask. Hehehe. Or just find a group to join, I assure you you'll improve a lot by playing games with them.

I play against some people who've never been trained before, and lost to them.

Lesson to be learned? Don't underestimate the uncles out there. They are deceptive!

Lol! Yes, 'uncles'. What else can I call them? Misters? ;)

Well.. I really wanted to join the tournament this year.. but it's too close to trials plus I was SUPPOSED to be busy this Saturday.. so if I managed to survive through the rounds I would have to sacrifice one or the other on Saturday. I figured I'd make life easier and give it up just this once.;)

Too bad the haze spoiled my plans.. the Saturday thing is off. Life's like that I guess.

But no, I'm not good. Lol. Maybe just better than girls who don't train. *Shrugs*

By any chance if you read this, what time are the games starting tomorrow? I may want to drop by and watch if the haze isn't that bad(though it's getting worse).

Hey guys how is the court over at Tmn Megah? As the place that I'm playing is about to close down, we have to look around for alternative places to play. Also how much are the rates there on weekends and weekdays after 6pm? Hope its not too pack in the evening. If possible maybe someone can let me know their phone no to call. Thanks
