    New updates from Yonex Website

Based on the info. This shoe reduces foot pressure and added cushioning. Hence it will make your footwork quicker.

The entire JP version is Made in China.

I'm not sure weather we will get the same version of shoes or not since its not made in Japan for the Jp version. It may be different specs for Japan Market.. hmm i hope not.

Japan market versions should have the better material and workmanship. These Yonex shoes are made in several factories in Mainland China so there will be differences in quality.

It is only your belief that Yonex follows that practice and as such there are no proof of such practices and I do count the Japanese as friends like my many other multi-cultural friends. Thank you.

furthermore, i've said in the 'kwun in Japan' thread that yonex is stepping away from their previous marketing practices of local labelling. Gone will be jaspro, and other naming practices for specific market (eg mp 80, 90, etc). If the consumers can't ween off their misconceptional religion, yonex would try doing it for them.

    Sb99 & Shb99

Does anyone know the difference between SB99 and SHB99? As i know, SHB99 is far more expensive than SB99 even both design and colour are 100% same:rolleyes:

I dont know the model name ,but 1 thing for sure...

The high end Yonex shoes ,SHB-89MG, SHB-98MX,

Yonex released a lower quality level pairs ,with design similar to the 89 s,
98 s. I think many people knew this already ...

I advise not to get those lower level stuffs... I dont see how those kind will do good to your game. With the same amount ,u may want to look at other brands ... wks ago , i visited this badminton store, and the boss introduced this '100% badminton shoes' by Mizuno... USD 88 , :)

I got a pair of muzuno wave smash just recently - two sessions later - the left shoe's sole just came off....(too much lunging ):)
Shop tells me "sir, this is meant for volley ball not badminton..you shuda gotten wave smash, specially for badminton..."

Sigh... thought I would give mizuno a try - looks like back to YY shoes...
