    This tournament is a joke

Never see SS like this...organizers didnt even bother to invite some more local players to fill in the draw..

BWF should ask the host nation (in this case China) to acome out with another 8 reserved pairs so at least we had 16 pairs in the draw instead of only 8 . (Even the junior pairs will be okay) THis had to be the worst participant in any of SS event.

How could BWF approved this nonsense ??

Are there some kind of rules abt participants in SS event ??

Or they simply just afraid to "advise" Chn after what happened in OG ?? Such a wuss..

Again, another right mess by bwf.
The organiser has actually following bwf's rules to the letter and that does not allow the organiser to fill the draw with lower ranked players.

If BWF still has some pride, they should just drop 1 of the 2 SS event in Chn..

I know its after OG etc, but if this is in Mas or Ina the hosts will ask so many local players to participate

Maybe Aussie or USA/Canada get upgraded to SS event to promote baddy in there

Haa .... this is good justification to move the China Masters to another country that does not have SS status.

I think it is the title's problem. Lower rank players are not considered Masters.

Chong Wei is playing in the China Masters SS, because my friend just got an MMS from a friend whose with the Malaysian team management in China showing Chong Wei comfortably settled in his VVIP Suite of some hotel. I hope he wins this one and gets back his world no. 1 ranking.

Er...love to see SS coming to Canada, except baddy lacks support from 'paying to see' fans, not those who 'stay home download for free' fans. One time the Canadian Open was held in my city and 40 people showed up and it was admission free. Who wonder which organizer is willing to lose his/her shirt to organize a SS Open in Canada. 14 of us went to Anaheim to see WC05 and the Pond was prolly 1/2 full in the final and those who occupied the seats included the players parking their butt on the seats. It cost us US$175 each for great seats for the entire 5 day admission and at such a low price, still not full. So, SS coming to Canada, if it is a business venture, it sucks. If it is to promote baddy in North America, I am all for it and count me as one paying fan, but let's see who is the donor first.

Thank you Kak Helang. BTW do you think it'll be a violation of his privacy and my indirect paparazzi contact if I posted a pic of him in the VVIP Suite?
