    this post is spot on.

they are inherently a great pair. you don't win an AE title and AG gold if you're not essentially a great pairing.

Now I wish the MAS pair had lost to the THA pair instead. Atleast the THA pair would have done better against CAI/FU and/or JJS/LYD.

Shame, KKK and TBH are now in self destruct mode by playing their signature defense game which works against all but the top pairs. No way it's going to get by the koreans.

JJS should get the award for being one of the hardest working player. he just jumpsmash everything he sees with full power.

KKK/TBH has good defense, but any defense will crumble under such nonstop and relentless offensive.

    impressed.

Please do not put Taufik in the same league of KKK/TBH. Yes, Taufik is not as good as his 2002-2005 form. (Lets face it he is old) But Taufik had win all the great titles in the world except for All England and Sudirman Cup for his country. Olympic Gold medal, check. Thomas Cup check. World Champion check.

All TBH/KKK big title is All England and a fourth place in OLympic 2012.

TBH has some brilliant smash and angles.

his problem is that he need to use them.

I think the THA pair losing is good for them. If they had won, they would just be one of those one hit wonders that burn out afterwards and disappear from the scene.
Now that they have lost, they will fight back in 2016 and on the journey to the next games. This will spur them on to improve.
Most greats of badminton never won their first OG; it was after they had lost and gained that will to prove people wrong and prove it to themselves as well.

I thinks they played one of their best tourney for a long time!! Ofc this 2nd set is bad and they fall back into the old patterns, but hey, mentally pretty hard to refocuse!!

the nice part about the Korean is that they work hard and don't care if 90% of their smash comes back. they know that they will win the point from the 10%
