I did a search and was to find this topic hadn't been touched upon. I've noticed that most of the very top (#1 seeds / former #1s) players tend to have large bags under their eyes as compared to their peers. Is it a genetic thing or something else? Maybe their hydrating patterns? I've heard from a couple of people that drinking right before you go to sleep leads to bags under the eyes the next morning... could the top players be knowingly/unknowingly sacrificing beauty for performance the next day? (If allowing the body to get accustomed to holding larger quantities of water the night before tournaments is beneficial for performance). Feel free to speak from personal experiences if you like. And not that we as dedicated badminton players really care about such things but how best to play effectively without sacrificing beauty? Perhaps taneepak has a recipe for reduction/prevention of bags under the eyes? Cooler, I'm ! It's almost as if you're not taking my question seriously. :crying: Not all of us are in contact with former #1s on a daily basis and get to see what they look like outside of their match videos. You seem like a highly skilled fellow. Care to share your personal experiences? Would you say you have large bags under your eyes and do you think it's 'cause of badminton? Do you still get the same looks from the ladies (or guys or whatever preference) as you used to?

Funny the topic is. In my opinion, some ppl are inborn having bags under their eyes not because of their terrible sleeping pattern. Not matter how well they sleep ,they still have bags hanging. Good sleeping can only reduce or minimize the size of bag but can't eliminate the bags. I think the reason why the top seeds always have bags under their eyes is bags storing energy which give them mighty power to beat their rivals so that they can top the ranking. I notice Gong zhi chao has bags under her eyes? who else? qusitor?
