Wow the oldest pair in draw Trikus/Vita beat in form TAQ/LPJ...

I guess Trikus still has some old trick ;)

Can BAM please kick Chan Kwong Beng out already? He definitely has shown no progress or even gone backwards over the last 2-3 years, unlike Liew Daren and his results are also the worst among the 4 (Liew Daren, Chong Wei Feng, Arif and himself)
Lee Hong Je is a junior player that Zulfadli beaten last year in WJC team event final.

Irfan Fadhilah/Wenni Anggraini [7] eventually won in the hard-fought match against the Korean pair. Yet another Korean pair await them in R16 - Kim Sa Rang/Choi Hye In.

Tri Kusharjanto/Vita Marissa also progress to R16 and the upcoming Singaporean pair Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan [4] will test them for a place in the last 8.

To be frank, Lin Dan shouldnt even bother competing in this tournament....Kevin Cordon, Abian are out....other than Boonsak Ponsana, there's nothing to look forward and take away from this tournament.

He should just do a walkover and fly to Indonesia and Singapore to observe and analyse other London-bound opponents.

After today, the tournament is pointless

I don't think so. The problem is too much interference from non coaching PBSI people.

No coach wants to work under that kind of situation.

One day, Hendrawan will no longer work in Malaysia. If Rexy can be ousted there, I think Hendrawan will not last too.

The thing is will he be back to coach INA? He can get many offers from other countries.

Djoko needs to be dethroned. Need people who are non political to head PBSI

Han Dynasty campaign begins.....come on! She needs a coach as clever as Zhuge Liang to guide her to victory

Hafiz Faisal/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth steal the first-set. It will be a major upset if they can beat the seeded and experienced home pair.

    That's no problem to me...

But Sudket/Saralee always can mount a comeback...

As expected, both WS players were defeated by CHN opponents. Yawn.

5 INA XD pairs are through to R16. But then, tough matches for each one of them tomorrow.

Wonder if Wang Lin is regaining her peak form and fully overcome the phobia of injury which twice previously put her out of action for quite some time. Tomorrow, she'll be playing Indian hopeful Sindhu.

Sun Yu from Eastern Wu advances forward....most likely she will take on Wang Lin if she could beat Sindhu

Sun Yu barely scraped thru in a close 3-set encounter that could have gone either way. Carolina is one of the young hopefuls I'm watching. Sun Yu's opponent tomorrow, Busanan, may give her a hard time too.

Looking at Marin's record, it is clear that she is not afraid of strong physical types. Sun Yun's struggle was expected.

What a great test on the youngster's mind set!

Everybody seems to have forgotten about the match between Carolina Martin and Sun Yu. What a titanic battle it was. There was nothing much separating both of them. The match could have gone either way. Carolina has taken part in more competitions at the senior level and hence is more experienced that Sun YU.This is possibility the only thing separating them. Both are great fighters. This match can easily become the match of the whole tournament and perhaps a preview of the future of ladies' badminton

When I was typing this post nobody seemed to make any comment on this match. The moment I posted my comments I found so many people have posted before me Hahaha..........
