Hey there SS, thanks very much for the incredibly detailed response! I have the Tantrum 200, and I can tell you that the Arc10 that I used is *nothing* like my T200. To be honest, the Arc10 that I used is not exactly genuine, and it had a very obvious heavy head feel to it. Shortly after posting my question here, I did a little research on the Yonex website, and basically came to the same conclusion that you pointed out, which is that the Arc10 that I played with do not correspond to the Arc10 as stated on the website. Too bad, because I thought the racquet is pretty good, and if I got the genuine article I would be getting more of the real Yonex goodness! I do have 2 questions: 1. Where do you find the specs for the APACS racquets you quoted in your post? Finding a good APACS website with good info is like finding a needle in a haystack. 2. Any suggestions for a stiff, head-heavy APACS?
hmm.. lethal 8.. is it really mid flex? I had the t200.. just sold it.. too stiff for me.. therefore looking for a less stiff one..
Hi guys, i am a beginner and i am wondering which model to get: 1) Apac Edgesaber Z Slayer 2) Apac Edgesaber 10 3) Apac Nano 9900 4) Apac Nano 900 Power If possible, please include explanation as to why the one that is chosen is superior to the others, thanks in advance!
Man, If Uv read thru this thread not even from the beginning :crying:u must have a fair Idea which one to start with from your list above. There is sooo much information here.
Believe me, i have gone through most of the recent posts lol and that is how i managed to narrow down to only 4 choices. It's really hard to choose between them as the earlier posts mostly recommended only either one of the four without any comparison.
Reviews I've read on BC 1- small frame, some say vibrates some say don't have == 2- people say not nice at all 3- nice racket 4- stiff, slight head heavy
I'm stringing the entire Finapi Range for a friend of mine, I have the Finapi 30,33,70,80, 232 and 252. But they're all the same medium-stiff, 4U, Even balanced rackets, just different types of frame... What are your thoughts about the Finapi Series? Just bang-for-buck? Or quality stuff like the Tantrums, Lethal 60,70,90,100 and tweets?
looking to buy nano fusion speed 722 since my old one broke in a clash T.T... I noe its an old model.. been deperately trying to find it everywhere to no avail.. i live near kl btw.. help, anyone???
Should be able to get them in Malaysia. http://www.lelong.com.my/apacs-nano...-shipping-gift-x5-I1120261-2007-01-Sale-I.htm
hi aloy ^^ i came across this link before.. id prefer if i could personally go to the store and get my hands on it before buying it.. juz a personal preference but thanks anyway.. ^^
From what I've heard the Finapi series are just inexpensive graphite rackets. I also heard that the Tweet rackets are not really "quality stuff" like you mentioned. The L100 didn't get such good reviews either. T200/300 and L60/70 are very good for sure though. L90 is okay, but just a Victor Bravesword knockoff.
I've only tried the nano 9900 power (not nano 9900 without the power) it feels balanced and a bit flexible..
I think I disagree with you on the Tweets, the 6000 and 7000 didn't get great marks from 1-2 people, as did the tantrum 500. But the T500 was great and the tweet 6k was pretty decent (it felt more like a headheavy midflex 4U to me, despite what the stats say) I want to test them all out (for fun), but my expectations for the Finapi's aren't that high now
Ah okay, of course I may be wrong as my knowledge of the Tweets and T500 is merely hearsay. The Finapi's shouldn't be bad at fulfilling their function as Yonex look-a-like's / inexpensive graphite rackets, but I don't think one should expect that they be high end rackets
Appealing to bros here, which should I get - T200 or latest Lethal 110? Understand both are stiff & HH, many rave reviews already for T200/300 but I'm caught with this new L110... Hope someone has tried both & could offer me a comparison/advice
Get the T110, it's more fun with it. I sold my T200 and stayed happy with the L110. Although L70 is still the most powerful.
