Kuala Lumpur Sports Medical Centre. LCW's doctor is Dr Saw,Orthopaedic Surgeon http://www.klsmc.com/ But hard for you to meet LCW, the pic I think is taken by one of LCW's family members
Janet asked why would they allow him to put a net there. this guy is the only hope that MAS will get a gold medal in the next decade, if he wants a full Yonex court mat with competition level lighting, they will probably set it up for him in the hospital.
Chong Wei may take more than 4 weeks to recover fully: Expert Daily Express, Friday, June 01, 2012 http://www.dailyexpress.com.my/news.cfm?NewsID=81693 Excerpts: Kuala Lumpur: Shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei may take longer than four weeks to be 100 per cent fit for competition said National Sports Institute (ISN) physiotherapy expert Sandra Fiedler. Fiedler said the world number one who injured his ankle may take at least five to six weeks to recover fully. "I don't' think..(that he can recover within four weeks). It could aggravate the injury if he pushes too hard. ...Meanwhile, Chong Wei who was also present at the session refused to meet the press. ...Fiedler has also not ruled out the possibility that Chong Wei was still in trauma after the injury. "I assume that there's always some sort of fear, when remembering the incident, but it is part of the physio's role to try and revive the confidence of the athletes, so that they can go on," she said.
Do you think there are millions burnt? I think injurys like these are included in their contracts. I think it's like football: The sponsors also have their insurance contracts for cases like these. Would be kinda unfair, because it's (mostly) not the players fault to be injured
Interesting, got the before and after wrong way round mate. Isn't he looks even more skinner than he was? I thought injuries suppose to make you fat, not the other way round Isn't
Depends on how you eat and how fit you are....you'll lose some muscle, but how much fat you gain/lose is up to you. He'll also train as much as his ankle allows, and most of his strength training will not be hindered by the injury (you can still do the leg exercises apart from squads and calf training...and maybe even slow squads with good ankle support)...
The pic on the left is latest one, LCW can walk but no running around yet.
