    Ti-10 2U.
I don't see many 3Us over here in KL unless I am looking at the wrong places.

    3 U

3 U is the most common weight category. But this is only true in yonex rackets. White man racquets don't have a weight system or it's totally different.

What we tend to forget is the actual weight of the racquet, with too much emphasis on whether it is a 3U or 4U. After all you do not play with a racquet without strings, as 3U or 4U or 2U mean weight of the racquet without strings and without handle cling wrap. The actual weight of your racquet is usually one or more U higher, the additional weight coming from strings and over-grip or replacement grip. It is possible to have a 4U racquet weighing higher than a 3U racquet or even a 2U racquet. The confusion arises because most owners of racquets do not posses a digital weigh scale that can read down to 0.1-0.5gm tolerance.

Yup, u are right. I used my Lab's microbalance on my rackets and here are the measurements:

    Racket Weight(g)
    Carb 9 (2u) 104.5
    Ti-8 (3u) 103.7
    MP88 (3u) 99.9
    Ti-10 (2u) 112.4
    Carb 20L (2u) 103.4

The Ti-10 is a monster. All rackets has only 1 replacement grip with string.

Carb? Cab? :D:D (if you have seen the Coke C2 commercial....1/2 the Carbs....) I am joking!! :)

Since Ti-10 and Cab-20L of yours are both in 2U, why is there a near 10g difference? (Are they with the same string and same grip?)

    Black Knight racquet

    Interesting.
After reading the thread, I decide to measure the mass of my racquet.
BK 2006 with a Babolat replacement grip and Ashaway Micro Legend XL string = 100 g
BK 2006 C4 with the original BK Competition Grip and (I think) Ashaway Flex 21 string = 88 g
All the racquets have a medium size grip. I guess that will be similar to Yonex 3U.

Yup, both uses BG-66 and the exact replacement grip.

But the Ti-10 is so powerful, its fun using to smash even though its heavy. I'm tempted to smash every shot when I'm using it, lol.

Surely the adding and removal of material is to ensure the balance point is within specification for the racquet. I imagine that any racquet that could not be balanced by adding or removing material would not pass quality control and therefore would not be sold.
