Whilst it looks as if the frame is being squashed in-wards, on closer inspection it appears to be more of an optical illusion. It reminds me of the 'dazzle camouflage' used on battleships during the First World War.

The Vertex 2 is a gorgeous looking racket. However, is it just me or does it look pink to anyone else? I had several bad experiences with my 'K' Braves last year, so my opinion of Wilson is somewhat shaken. I was watching one of JR's matches from last year's Denmark Open and it appeared that he was back using his old 'K' Braves.

In case no one has noticed, the Vertex 2 has been up on Wilson's US website since yesterday. Here's the link:

isappointingly, the Recon seems to have disappeared. That, coupled with the fact that the specs of the Recon and V2 are almost identical, makes me want to ask - Is the Vertex 2 the replacement for the Recon?
