which version is better between mp 88 (red colour ) or mp88 (blue colour) ? and which weight is good for fast smash , i mean 2u , 3u or 4 u? thanks?
MP 88 - two versions only differ in color... to execute fast smash - choose 4U to av deadly smash - choose 3U however smashing depends on ur strength le... head heaviness will only improve ur smash to a certain degree... it's still all depend u !!! and there is no 2U
There is no better or worse. Read these two thread before post: http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=8426 http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=9787 Even if you are asking two different rackets, there is still no better or worse because different people have different preference and use.
but the tension reccommendations are different blue one up to 22 lbs and red one up to 20 lbs only and 4U is lighter right? then why 4U is not for avoid deadly smash ?
yea u r rite... yonex has increased their string tension recommendation... previously 3U rackets up to 20lbs... now 22lbs for MP serie we cannot avoid deadly smash... to return deadly smash would depend on the player lo...
does it make any difference ? does it make any difference if the string reccommendations are different ? do they upgrade the racquet quality from 20lbs to 22lbs? or it is just their change the reccommendation only?
Yonex tends to change colors of rackets just to promote sales, and I am sure if you email them ask them about it, they will tell you it's the same thing but different color.
And Yonex want to honor "Bluejeff" for his "E-Bay authroity" threads, so, MP88 is blue now... ok, j/k...
That'll be very nice!! Well, in fact, I am going to visit Taiwan again in December, and I will be getting a pair of the Blue MP-88(3UG5) there
I think what he meant was, since AT700 is new and more expensive, Yonex does not want ppl to get confused with MP88 (relatively old and cheaper). Therefore, "assign" the MP88 a new color to state the difference. Might be... a very interesting thought, though...
