Yep... just bought AYAF003 low cut LD shoe. Review: 1) good quality. 2) nice colour! white and red 3) a bit too heavy for as compared to my Victor SH8600 Ace I would not recommed this shoe to anyone... as it is slightly too heavy. It made my movement in court slower! I have tried the 3 brands of high-end shoe (yonex, victor and li-ning) and personally, i would recommend victor over the rest.. Can't imagine how heavy can the li-ning mid-cut shoe!
You are really the only one who is complaining about the design of this shoe. Too much fan boy love for your new Yonex shoes I believe But I must admit that, the LN shoes are a little too expensive [the discounted price is almost as much as a cheap high-end Yonex racquet], albeit very functional just like the racquets..
@juventus1 But some players in my club are complaining about how slippery could SH8600 Ace in a wooden badminton court, however it grips so well in rubber court. I am playing on wooden badminton court all the time. what court are you playing at, now?
The mid cut version is AYAF037!!! You can see the complete pictures here http://bbs.badmintoncn.com/thread-228440-1-2.html
i also play mostly in wooden court! it grip well also... please mop the floor if dirty!! I always try to find mop to clean the court before the game... the sound of screeching is enjoyable!
I tested the mid cut version of the shoe at the shop before i decided on another model to get, honestly speaking its kinda heavy, some of the mid cut basketball shoes are lighter than this model, guess its gonna take some time to get used to the mid cut version, but if you are a basketball player, you should not have problems adjusting to the shoes.
Li-Ning Shoe Sizing Hi Guys/Girls Do these shoes or any li-Ning Shoes go up to the following Sizes UK 10.5 EUR 45 JAP 29 Thanks in Advance Changsta
just bought the limited version (white) design. i will post the pictures up soon. but very comfortable indeed.
Lace Loop Broke - twice!!! I bought the AYA F037-1 about 5 weeks ago. The shoe is comfortable and fits me well but, after just 10 hours of badminton over 3 weeks, one of the lace loops gave way. I took the damaged pair of shoes to the Li Ning showroom in Singapore. They were pretty responsive and swapped it for a new pair. Now, after just 2 weeks or so, the lace loop has ripped on this second pair as well!!! Am headed to the store again tom Anyone here facing similar issues? FYI - I am used to wearing mid/high cut shoes (basketball, motorcycle riding etc.) - never faced such issues on any other (mid or other cut) shoe!
I love this LD edition Hero shoe... initial feel is very heavy. after trying for many weeks, I'm accustomed to its robust and heavy structure. Maybe one day i should also buy the mid-cut yellow edition. I can't go back to Yonex and Victor shoe.. they feel very light and deformed after sometimes and they offer less protections. This shoe is so robust that it still stay the same shape after many intense matches. Pricey but worth the value...top-notch quality as compared to Yonex and victor.
There is none!! The midcut don't have the red in them, it's a different coded shoe. Just like the yellow versions of both, different code and slight different styling in both low and mid-cut designs.
