regardless, the line judges should be allowed to make the call without interference, it is common between all professional sports... And lets be honest quite alot of questionable line calls for a top class tournament, I think the Japan Open organisers and BWF should review the quality of the calls and umpiring... among other things... And today CL was quite extravagant, i believe one of the tournament organisers had to go prompt him to go back... btw, when was the last time LCW ran out to one corner of the stadium without thanking his opponent and umpires for the match ?
it's not excuse, didnt you see that he rushed out before judge call? and he then pointed to the linesman, influencing his judge it was so obvious i would congratulate him if he plays it neatly, i said he's in good form today, so it's natural for him to win. i've been watching and even the spokesman in the broadcasting were saying the same thing, player is influencing the judges, i want a clean match, a great game between two players, no matter who wins it anyway, the game is over, but i would not respect this player.. sorry
Go watch last year's AE Final again. "LCW is not playing clean! He's not even in his top form today, and at the last crucial point, he yelled and sank to his knees before Tago could contest the call with the umpire, and the umpire had to annouce he WON!! It was actually IN as seen on the slow motion replay!! Very angry at this Malaysian attitude!! Where got people announce his own victory like that?? Can't accept!!" Does the above paragraph sound sensible to you? No? Yea, I thought so. Hypocrites.
Schenk is still able to catch WYH a few times at the front, making her look awkward (like the WYH of old). 15-13
It was GC calling it influence the line judge. It was clearly out. Why not celebrate? If you are a LCW fan, you should know the answer. Just don't change the rule from not acknowledging the opponent first to running to the corner of the stadium.
