The difference between ZL/LL and ZN/XXF/WYH is that ZL/LL were never considered the top Chinese WS players in the world. They just caught everyone by surprise just like Gunawon and Howard Bach in 2005. WL injured herself, just bad luck. WYH has a all-rounded attack game that can dominate WS a long time.

While ZL was a notch or two below XXF and ZN, she was the most skilled player among the rest. She just lacked some drive.

LL was the most complete player (WL may have captured that title when she won her WC) among the little flowers.

WYH's footwork and net play were not up to par. Both, especially the footwork, were much improved at WC. Maybe WYH pre-jinxed herself with the injury before AE such that she will escape the curse this time.

Wang Yihan is seeded No 1 at China Masters and Japan SS (of course she is :p). And I read from other thread that Yihan will participate the Indonesia GPG Gold. So, there will be 3 tournaments in a row? What do you think?

They really look different when they are not playing. You can tell if the person is good looking or not when they are playing cos they don't wear make-up. She's really got substance.

IMHO, Wang Yihan should skip the 2011 Indonesia Open GP Gold.

I have always said that the top players (based on BWF Rankings) should allow others to make their marks in these lower tournaments. But for the China Masters and the Japan Open SS, hope that Wang Yihan will be there.

    Wang Yihan holds herself beautifully

    .
Also, the good looks of a person can be observed from not by one take of a photo, but via a video of at least a minute.

To me, Wang Yihan holds herself beautifully. :):):)

I also think the same that Wang Yihan should skip the IO GPG. Will be too tiring weeks, I think. And hope she can win the China Masters and Japan Open :D

Wang Yihan is like a chameleon. She has this ability to surprise and shock you (in a nice way! :D) just when you thought you've got her all figured out. That shows there is a depth to her that not many people appreciate! :)

Currently, as I type, Wang Yihan is our BWF's World No.1

    .
No one would/could expect Wang Yihan to win at every tournament. :):):)

Currently, as I type, Wang Yihan is our BWF's World No.1 WS player. Hope that our BCers would appreciate this ranking.

The latest one she used to Win World cmapionship, I do not think has been release yet.. It is a 2012 model according to some Chineese sites that is called TB NANO 10 or something like that, that has not been released to mere mortals yet..

    Cheers,
    TJ

It is a 2012 model (Which is for next year)

    .
:D:D:D Wang Yihan is now a player who will be used as a subject for experimentation or research into which racket is better for next year (2012).
