16-6. China will have won 10 consecutive world championships in a roll. 11 if you count the Sudirman Cup.
Shall be interesing to see if they will still be a pair in Rio 2016. +5 years = around 28, coming of age for non-Asian players/system ...
many quality & entertaining matches to watch during this World Championship... a very pleasant break from the world's cold reality today
China clean sweeps the world championship 2 years in a row. Zhang Nan / Zhao Yunlei beat Chris Adcock / Imogen Bankier : 21-15 / 21-7.
sorry, i'm new member this forum...i have read some post that posting " LCW v2.0"... my question what does it mean?? after see MS final WC 2011, personally i think LD still the best MS even the greatest MS... his complete title carrier prove it... i'm so sorry about LCW for lost at the edge for catch up for 1st time major title... LD nerves and mental better than him,Olympic 2008,Asian games 2010,now WC 2011 prove it all... that's pity to see LCW for his consistency at superseries tournament, even sea games that held within 2 years,he can't win (1999,2001,2003,2005,2007)~TH rule, 2009 belong to SDK... i hope LCW will win at least olympic 2012,that will great farewell gift after his retirement... PG,TH,LCW,LD~ fantastic four
throughout the tournament CA/IB has been beating their opponents by having a exceptionally fast and sharp IB at the net, killing off anything that goes more than a couple of inch off the net. and then CA picking any thing that is left, that combo works very well for all other other pairing. but this chinese pair of ZN/ZYL up them by a surgically precise ZYL who IMHO matched and beats IB at the net which renders IB ineffective. and then on top of that, CA's offense isn't penetrating ZN and especially, and more importantly, not ZYL. ZN also extremely solid at the back, not only on the offensive, but also having the awareness and not allowing IB to use her best weapon by smart placement avoiding her. that's the making a world champion. solid technique and solid strategy and perfect execution.
