    Thank you!!

    Hi Guys!!

Sorry I didn't get the GOLD for badmintonforum, but I'll try my best to get the bronze tomorrow morning unfortunately against Jens and Mette, who lost as well!!

Congratulations to Great Britain for reaching the final in the mixed event. I think Nathan and Gail played really well and held their composure at 12-12 in the second set, where RIkke and I had a chance of getting back in the game.

Not to be, but this is not the last you will see of me!! I'll be back as a present gouverner of California used to say!!!

    Kind Regards from beautiful Greece!!

    Jonas

Ma ma Mia, another shocker, to me anyway especially with such lopsided scores. Mia, what have she been taking lately, or her timing to peak at the olympic is just superb.

Zhang Ning will win 2-0 because in the world championships, zhang Ning beat Mia in straight games and 11-0 in the second game. So LYB will choose Zhang Ning. But I think Zhang ning is not in good form now, she can not beat Mia this time.

As of today, it seems that the Chinese Women still have a chance to duplicate what they did in Sydney. They still have a good chance of winning both gold and bronze in WS. Zhang Jun/Gao Ling still has a great chance of defending their title - eventhough Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms seem will be a very tough opponent. Assuming that Gao Ling/Huang Sui can defeat Rikke Olson and Ann-Lou Jorgerson, there is still a possibility that WD can win all 3 medals (Kim/Ra or Audina/Bruil might spoil the party. Yes. I wouldn't count Audina/Bruil out yet. They have a good chance of upsetting Kim/Ra in the Quarters)

There won't be any medals in MS, but 2 MD team reach the quarter finals in MD. That's a major improvement from the Sydney performance. Compare to Year 2000, China didn't fare that much worse. It's just that our expectation (and also LYB's expectation) on them - especially the youngster, have been too high.

Zhang Ning is through to the Gold-medal match. She won 11-6 and 11-4 over Zhou. This is another monumental achievement of Zhang Ning before she retires.

If Gong defeat Mia today, I am sure that Zhou Mi will defeat Zhang Ning as she has done several times this year.

IMHO, both have the equal chance to beat Mia, and Ruina as well.

Actually all semifinal players are all ready and equal technically, but this time and tomorrow we do not know who is more well-prepared physically or mentally,

ready or not really affects how good your performance.

My wishes for Mia come true so far, Mia beat Gong, then face Zhang Ning, real final!. One step more, all 'r' fullfilled :D

When Mia didn't need to spend too much energy to play against Gong, she probably wouldn't mind.
