Wonderful job from BWF to be able to broadcast the championship live in youtube.

hey, I live in London, it does not work it says 'The uploader has not made this video available in your country'. What's going on. Has anyone in UK has this problem? quite frustrated.

That's cause they expect you to go to the stadium? ;) And the broadcast rights have been sold to Sky ...

Can you watch the re-live, like the XD Japan vs Canada?

I just tried to watch the recorded matches but it comes with the same bloody message! So not only they stopped UK viewers from live stream but also past matches. I'm going to the stadium on Thursday but thought catch some action on the Desktop.

Read it might even be just the London area as someone from Devon managed?

I was from Devon and commented on twitter! and yes no problem here, but apparantly Scotland was blocked, it should be just London. Its senseless though they sell very few tickets and many people go from all over UK to watch, its not like showing in london would hugely effect sales

Guys...if you read the infomation displayed at the bwf's world championship 2011 channels carefully:

    http://www.youtube.com/badmintonworldtv#g/c/53E5CA334C1BE853

It clearly says: Instant delays of each match will be available Worldwide except in China, United States and Japan. Stay tuned to the delays after the event on the 14th of August in Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Australia and United Kingdom.

So if you are not from China, US or Japan. You could watch the delay live after 14 Aug.

And live stream work in UK but you gonna be careful here. I am not sure what hits BWF's head recently but they have 2 youtube channles. The old channel is the tsabadmintonworld channel which used to stream Singapore and Indonesia open 2011. It no longer stream the world championship 2011 for some weird reason, at least not that I am aware of. The old channel link is- http://www.youtube.com/user/tsabadmintonworld

The newer one is the bwf's Badmintonworld.tv channel, where they stream world championship 2011 there. Follow the link here:
    http://www.youtube.com/badmintonworldtv#p/l/67XdWpUdTGA
You should have no problem accessing the live stream here if you are NOT from: China, United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Austalia, Germany, Sweden and France.

To repeat, UK gets the live stream regardless of whether you are from scotland, wales, london or ireland.

Can I request this post to be sticky? Cause people are asking about the same question over and over again despite there are so many threads talking about the live stream out there. Thanks.

Thanks, but while I in Devon could view the live feed (new site), people in other parts UK (not just London) could not.

You will get 'the uploader has not made this video available in your country' message upon entering the channel. But do tell those who cannot access the live stream to not panic. Ask them to click on the dropdown list located on the right hand side of the channel, see the red circle in the attached picture. The event will have a live button under its title if the live stream is on. If you click the live item, the stream will run immediately(At least this is how it works on my laptop and I am from Cambridge, UK).
