Thanks for the explanation. That's why it is called the Chinese army.
But if CL had won with 78 mins on court, who is your take?

It looks like Chen Jin might be slowly shaking off his rust. I think he will edge it against either a fresh or tired LHI

From watching Axelsson, he did look impressive against BCL. I think he stands an even chance against WZM.

If CL had won with 78 mins, CL could defeat CJ

    .
If CL had won with 78 minutes on court, I would guess that he could defeat CJ. Why? Because CL is younger than LHI, and therefore CL is able to recover faster.

The draw of a tournament is quite an important factor for both seeded and/or 'in form' players, IMHO.

Here, at this 2011 Singapore Open, if CJ was to face the 'in form' LHI in Round 1, I would guess that the 'in form' LHI would defeat CJ.

But anyway, it's only all my guesses. :):):)

Am I the only one who thinks that wang lin faked an injury? In previous tournaments everytime the chinese girls face each other the lower ranked one always pulls out citing illnesses or injuries. You only have to look back at recent competitions to see liu xin and li xuerui pulling out against opponents like wang xin and wang shixian to give them more rest. Then other international players started to complain (tine baun, saina nehwal) and the bwf warned china on their future conduct.

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when wang lin turned up, and was looking forward to a decent match but hardly had the match started when wang lin collapsed. It looked very serious but today it was reported that wang lin is fit and will play next week at the indonesia super series?? So what are your views guys? Was this injury faked so as to avoid punishment by the bwf instead of just not show up? I find this highly suspicious...

i agree wif chris-cc, i think CJ will win because LHI is dead tired after yesterday's marathon wif CL.
Axelsson and WZM are both the tournament's most performing players to me, i give the edge to Axelsson, he is really full of vigor and youth but its a really hard call as I liked both players finesse.
Didn't see anything spectacular from Lin Dan but he hasn't been pushed to perform yet i guess...but today he will have to bring it as he meets Santoso.

Well, just show you the picture of yesterday. And the latest information I got from a badminton reporters is that Wang Lin will go back to Beijing tomorrow to check her knee injury 110617085753fb31d27337f713.jpg .

Cj was not impressive. It s only QF, not the Finals so Fatigue shouldn't be a factor yet for LHI. LHI s kind of play would drive most opponents nuts, as PG least like playing against him.

50/50. Crowd favors LHI for obvious reasons.

I guess court 1 is tv court with assumption no QF match which involve player/pair from same country. Let's see...
