    anybody watched it?

in the US the broadcast is held until 8pm. they decided that a delayed primetime coverage is better than live.

did anybody spot any of the badminton players? i haven't been able to find too many photos online yet.

I watched most of the opening ceremony and didn't see any of the badminton players. The BBC aired the whole ceremony live. It was around 3.5 hours long!

For anyone who has access to digital , the Badminton is being shown on BBC Three Olympic Interactive from 07:30 till 10:30 tomorrow. Not sure about SEA, but anyone in Europe should be able to pick it up.

I only saw about 15 minutes of action (or should I say inaction??) But luckily I caught both Team Canada and Team China's walks!

Can't wait for the event to start full scale tomorrow.

    canadian coverage

I am dismay with our CBC coverage, no doubt it carries the ceremony live; it is so boring, the commentators, Peter mansbridge & the other guy...can't recall his name offhand; bloody boring. I just watched the NBC coverage. It is much more livier and informative. High time somebody revamp CBC.

i went through the captured video frame by frame, i cannot find any badminton players in the Chinese, Koreans, Malaysian or Netherlands.

i did however got some of Denmark: spotted Jonas, Jonassen, Lars, the pretty Pernille Harder, as well as Sigit's coach and according to you guys, the pole bearer Christian Hadinata though the tv title says differently. and of course, Singapore's pole bearer Susilo, who was quite cheerful!
