how to do....HIGH CLEAR?? and reply a high serve?

    Surprised that nobody mentioned anything about turning the body in trying to play a good high clear. Just using the arm, hand and wrist to play a clear off a high serve is actually very difficult.

    I already mention it, If you dont have the power or unable to make a good clear shot then you can add body rotation for additional power.

    Scissor kick is not a must, If your technic is good then you can do a good clear with your arm alone. Using body rotation can be used to reserve stamina.

    THANKS INDRATO ....to add body rotation need to turn your shoulder sideways then when contacting the shuttle move your shoulder to the front right?

    I learned it this way. You know how you use your off racquet arm to align yourself with the shot? Well, that arm should move visibly behind you after the shot. This forces a more natural body rotation. Make sure your arms are open and bent over 90 degrees. The muscles are less tense, and you can generate more power. Just doing that added so much more to my swing.

    That is correct, naturally if you smash or clear your right shoulder (main hand) will move to the front. To add power you could jump a little and do scissor jump.
