for some reason. PG's movement is rather slow today on defense. he is either not able to read CL's offense, or unable to move quick enough.
I guess CL's job will be to keep LCW on the court as long as possible in the SF. LD will completely destroy Zwiebler
What is more interesting to me is how often PG lifted as forced by CL's netshots. I've never really liked CL's play before. Always thought that it lacked a certain "grace" that players like the big 4 possess. But today he proved why he can be considered a very strong CHN MS2. With a little roughing out the edges he has a solid chance of becoming LDtheSecond.
Yes, I noticed a big difference in CL's net play and his composure. He often seems a little ragged but his footwork had him in all the right positions today. Big congrats to him on the way he won
Petya looking like winning as expected. Must be blasting her of court . Let's check the stats ... only 6 direct smash winners in the 1st and 2 so far in the 2nd ...
Congratulations to Chen Long . Good Morning from Australia. Congratulations to Chen Long. I thought PG will face LCW at the Semi-Finals, but I was wrong. .
Petya Nedelcheva (BUL) def. Gu Juan (SIN) 21-16, 21-19 She will face Eriko Hirose (JPN) in the Semifinals.
