I'm not doubting you in any way but on the Victor website...the MX80 looks to be head heavier than the SW35...which is why I am very interested in the MX80. If its not any heavier and the SW35 packs more of a punch...I should just get another SW35 and forget about the MX80.

Just received my X80 today and had a run with it tonight. When they say the racket is stiff, they mean STIFF! The racket sure packs a punch, and comparing it to my SW35 it is definitely more head heavy and stiffer in every way.

I am more than likely going to stick with my SW35 and maybe use the X80 in singles only :)

I think I'll have to go to a store and feel it myself :p
But if the price of the SW35 comes down a bit...then I'll just go for another!

    Thanks for the reviews guys!

    see post #200 below

If the locals buy online at Yahoo Taiwan Auctions, they will get free string, grip etc

Based on my past experience, you might pay less than NT$4200 if you buy from the retail shops.

    TWD 3,500 = USD 118 (wow that's very cheap !)
HKD 1,080 = USD 138 (hmm still okay)
    CNY 1,590 = USD 241 (that's really very steep !)

    Yo bro jump-smash,

congratulation, I hope you will enjoy your new weapon. I'm looking for your review. I want to know, if I should try the MX80 or stick with the SW35. :)

    @ awekuda & @ ucantseeme

short review here because I only use it once (one match only)

MX80 has the power of SW35 only a bit smaller, but only a bit / slightly
because it has the speed and maneuverability of BS10
so it is combination of both Power and Speed
it has about 90% of SW35 power and 90% of BS10 speed but more accuracy than both SW35 & BS10
MX80 frame is a bit slimmer than SW35 but the shaft are the same only stiffer
BS10 frame and shaft are slimmer than MX80 but more flex of course since MX80 is the stiffest racket I have so far

so I think you both should try this one (in fact all BC members should try it)
it is a different breed of a monster ;)

SW35 is old and it is Victor's past glory
here it is the dawn of a new age :)
    be a part of it
